About Theme Time

We’ve been publishing free wordpress themes and wordpress plugins since 2007!

When theme-time.com was first launched (back in 2007) we targeted the free wordpress themes market. Our goal was always to offer good looking, clean templates that users the world over could download and start using for free.

Well 3 years on and not a lot has changed, we’re still churning out free wordpress themes, we’re still supporting all of our old themes and more importantly we’ve continued to help our users expand and develop their websites through a full range of design and customisation servies.

Customised Themes

In late 2007 theme-time.com began the challenging process of offering a selection of paid services to all of our users that seeked that little bit extra. Whether it was design customisations to an existing theme or a completely new theme designed from scratch we began these services almost a year after launch.

The main challenge here was always how to balance our efforts with releasing fresh new free themes but still continuing to offer extra services to our existing users.

Well about the same time we started offering these services we were purchased by creative9 who thankfully have made the customisation side of our business smooth sailing. As well as the extra man power available through their own expertise we now also offer wordpress plugin development and other extended wordpress services.

In it’s truest sense if you’re looking for a team that can support your wordpress publishing needs all the way to the top, well I’d say we’re up there with most of the best wordpress development services.

Premium Themes

Premium themes are still a new area for us but suffice it to say we’ve entered this part of the market just this year (i.e. 2010). So hopefully you’ll see us releasing a couple of these every year and once again the goal here was to service our current users who simply wanted themes with more backend power. Sometimes you want a little more than a free theme and a little less than a fully bespoke one. A premium theme sits in the middle and offers just that, so expect some cool premium themes very very soon.
